"

Very much so. The physical world is real but in a constant state of flux, misinterpreted as an illusion, a mental construct - "Maya". It is only illusory in the sense that it is constantly changing. This principle forms the basis of the martial aspect of t'ai chi.

Should there be that event where there is no motion - say at absolute zero - reality would disappear.

The physical elements are reflections of the way reality is patterned by existing structures (as you have so well researched in the cellular development) and systems (from the first emergence of the "big bang") as it continuously emerges into a timeless now.

Our responsibility as sentient beings is to allow the balance of Shakti and Kali to flow as harmoniously as possible.Robert de Voshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15167585898425953932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-451920464092183110.post-42282581686109150462011-01-16T16:14:11.346-08:002011-01-16T16:14:11.346-08:00I think the timeless universe is space-time - the ...I think the timeless universe is space-time - the expanded envelope of all the happenings throughout the history of the universe - timeless because it contains all time and possibly collapsed from a super-abundant superposition of multiverses by consciousness itself.

I think the temporal aspect complements the eternal and a major part of reconciling our existential condition comes about through accepting the temporal and mortal is necessary for the timeless eternal aspect to come about over time. This means we have a sense of the eternal while acting out in the temporal.

There is a complementarity between these, implicit in the relationship between consciousness and material phenomena, so that Kali is consuming and destroying temporally while Shiva is witnessing the eternal cosmic mind, which is omnipresent in each of us.

That said, I think its good for us to keep as closely as possible to the biology so this is just a kind of allegorical expose of my intuitions, as stories we tell one another round the camp fire, which is what I think spiritual consciousness is about, when it is acting validly as a cultural enrichment, rather than coercively as religions, which are culpable across the board of a kind of spiritual genocide.Dhusharahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16429563425998297239noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-451920464092183110.post-43662629688114376672011-01-16T04:29:01.114-08:002011-01-16T04:29:01.114-08:00Thanks for your fascinating papers on consciousnes...Thanks for your fascinating papers on consciousness and evolution. As a Sufi - a mystical offshoot of Islam -I have been trying to understand our "being here" and have designed this graphic which is part of a personal website. I really would appreciate some comment should you have the time.

I am aware that you see no reason for "god" and in the diagram I have used this term aligned with "tao" as a concept of energy. The column "spiritual" could just as easily be termed"excitability/chaotic excitation"

I am trying to develop a concept that we exist in a timeless universe which is constantly emerging from a source of energy - the taoist void which then achieves structure in a physical form of Riemannian geometry. My maths is non-existent, but this seems to be a possible tool.

Many thanks ... I can handle my psychic sacraments well, but I have never been prescribed medications or treatment apart from recreational Viagra and don't have any delusions of personal grandeur even though I do claim to be the Mashiach of the Tree of Life's diversity. However carbon is another matter. Silicon the next four-bonding atom one row down is very different chemically from carbon, so it looks as if CHCNO are optimally poised as the covalent scaffold builders of life and its chemical reactions.Dhusharahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16429563425998297239noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-451920464092183110.post-70850386053619277492010-11-09T20:15:13.404-08:002010-11-09T20:15:13.404-08:00Can consciousness be found in other non Carbon bas...Can consciousness be found in other non Carbon based phenomena?
